In their words
Kimberly Brown Architecture PLLC, known as KBA, is a New York practice working across architecture and interior design. Its portfolio includes homes, hospitality, gathering spaces and workplaces.
The practice begins with close collaboration and the practical requirements of a brief. It describes design as a process of listening and translating clients’ ideas into space, with the setting and intended use guiding each project.
At Dumbo Loft Condo, KBA brought this approach to a residence within Brooklyn’s historic Clocktower Building. Custom joinery, flexible rooms and carefully considered views support everyday life while retaining the character of the existing structure.
