The story
The story behind the work.
Barr Gazetas reworked 42 Wigmore Street around the existing building's character and materials. The façade was remodelled in a Georgian language, while a new reception, commuter facilities, landscaped courtyard and two roof terraces improve arrival, amenity and connection to nature.
Inside, the staircase moved into a former lightwell to create an active daylit route through the core and release space for better facilities. The official page records completion in July 2025 and identifies the completed scheme as all-electric and net-zero-ready.
