The story

The story behind the work.

The Reparation Feast is a project by Inaaya Amer that translates filmic sequences into architectural form. By deconstructing cinematic rhythm, framing, and transitions, the work transforms moments on screen into spatial experiences, creating fragmented yet connected environments that explore narrative, movement, and perception.

The Data Slaughterhouse is a speculative architectural proposal by Inaaya Amer set in Canary Wharf, disrupting the rigid economic grain of the city. It merges archive and machine, harvesting and transforming data while physically embodying the friction between digital processes and analogue materiality, framed through the site’s colonial past.
