Safea Al-Rawi's Community and Energise Cycle Building, named Chain Link Folly, symbolizes the interconnectedness of movement, community, and sustainability. The name reflects the building's purpose as a hub for cycling and social engagement, with "chain link" representing the continuous flow of energy and connection, and "folly" adding an architectural nod to creativity and innovation. The design incorporates a bold red steel structure to highlight the concept of movement, creating dynamic spaces that inspire activity and interaction. Focused on sustainability and thoughtful urban integration, the project embodies a balance of bold aesthetics and purposeful design.
