Woodalls designed and delivered a European research and development hub for a global biotechnology client whose identity remains confidential on the official page. The 3,200 sq m project combines BSL-2 laboratories, corporate workspace and technical support areas within a shell-and-core building in Barcelona's innovation district.

Glass-walled laboratories connect visually with write-up and breakout areas so researchers can move between controlled work and collaboration. Clean technical surfaces are balanced with timber, terracotta tones, planting and natural light to avoid an institutional atmosphere.

The official source records a 22-week construction programme and a scope covering laboratory planning, workplace consultancy, interior architecture and delivery. The generic client title is preserved deliberately, and no unsupported guest credit or media reuse claim is introduced.
