Leisure and Sports Center Fließ

The project

Within walking distance of the school and village centre, the arena has tournament and training pitches, a grandstand, a pool, athletics and tennis facilities and a landmark clubhouse. Suspended horizontal slabs, placed along and beyond the mountainside, are the design’s leitmotif.

The clubhouse sits on the terraced slope with its lower floors set into the ground, holding changing rooms and facilities. Covered stairs lead to a glazed upper pavilion with the club restaurant and a wraparound terrace overlooking the pitch and the mountains.
