The story
The story behind the work.
Moment of Stillness begins with the materials and places that are often overlooked. Zahra Mohammadi proposes a corn-cob-based material as a purifying skin for industrial buildings, exploring reuse at both the material and architectural scale.
The speculative process includes treatment in low Earth orbit. The drawings explore the relationship between industrial structures, landscape and shared space. Air purification is a design ambition of the proposal, not a verified performance claim.
