The project

The restaurant occupies part of the restored Carmelite complex of the Santuario della Ripa in Val Seriana. A felt installation fills the 130 square metre room, softening its lines and improving its acoustics.

The petals, in a warm neutral tone, nod to the nasturtium, an edible flower from Peru that gives the restaurant its name, and are arranged in a regular grid.

A lit bar shelf.
A table beneath the petals.
The dining room and its timber tables.
Looking across the room to the bar.
The restored building and garden.
