His latest project, Noohuru – The Restoration of Life and Healing of the Ocean, is a speculative architectural proposal envisioning a regenerative future for the Maldives in response to rising sea levels. Drawing inspiration from coral ecologies and traditional atoll logic, the work redefines resilience through decentralized, ecologically responsive habitats. Babin’s design philosophy centers on coexistence, environmental repair, and spatial justice, themes that underpin his creative and research-driven approach to architecture.
