The project

For a three-day fair, PAN- PROJECTS proposed “appropriate durability”: building only as strong as an event needs. Paper suited the brief because it is both recyclable and strong.

The design was inspired by the bagworm, which builds its nest from what is around it. The pavilion is wrapped in paper collected from the city, and was later redesigned and moved permanently into Kunsthal Charlottenborg.
