The story
The story behind the work.
Shinfield Studios is a purpose-built creative media campus developed by Shinfield Studios and the University of Reading. Its sound stages, workshops, backlot and offices are arranged to support changing production requirements.
Scott Brownrigg designed the masterplan and architecture. The official page records the £250 million, one-million-square-foot complex as completed in 2024 and designed around sustainability objectives, while the practice credits named delivery collaborators separately.
