The story
The story behind the work.
ColladoCollins designed and delivered The Landsby, its first operational UK development for Elysian Residences in the London Borough of Harrow. The later-living scheme provides 101 adaptable apartments for residents over 65, with an adjacent building adding 70 private-sale apartments.
The official project story lists a library, rooftop gym, outdoor terrace, beauty salon, restaurant, multi-purpose activity room and an on-site 24-hour medical centre. Drawing on neighbouring International Style villas, the completed 2020 building uses art-deco-inspired detail and won the What Homes Best Retirement Community award in 2021.
