The brief
A leading design led practice based in Central London is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join its growing London interiors team. Working across luxury hospitality, high-end residential and commercial projects, this role offers the opportunity to lead projects from concept through to completion while helping shape the future direction of a dynamic interiors team.
Reporting to the Head of Interior Design, the successful candidate will combine strong creative leadership with technical expertise, overseeing design quality, managing client relationships and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams across architecture and masterplanning.
Responsibilities:
- Lead interior design projects from concept design through to technical delivery
- Develop compelling design narratives and communicate them confidently to clients, consultants and contractors
- Maintain design integrity and creative vision throughout all project stages
- Coordinate with architects, engineers and specialist consultants to deliver integrated design solutions
- Manage client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities
- Support bids, presentations and project-winning activities
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
- Champion high standards of design, delivery and project performance
Requirements:
- At least 6-8 years experience in Interior Design
- Experience working on luxury hospitality, high end residential or mixed use projects
- Proven ability to manage projects from concept through to completion
- Experience managing clients, consultants and project teams
- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of design delivery, detailing and construction processes
- The right to live and work in the UK - the practice cannot sponsor
