Our commitment
Architecture Social has zero tolerance for bribery and corruption. Business decisions must be made honestly, transparently and without improper influence.
This standard applies to directors, staff, contractors and anyone acting for Architecture Social. We also expect suppliers and business partners to act consistently with these principles.
What is prohibited
No one acting for Architecture Social may:
- offer, promise or give an advantage to influence a decision improperly;
- request, agree to receive or accept an improper advantage;
- make a facilitation payment to speed up a routine action;
- use another person or organisation to do something that would be prohibited directly;
- conceal a conflict of interest or personal benefit; or
- retaliate against someone who raises a genuine concern.
An advantage can include money, gifts, hospitality, work, favourable treatment, confidential information or another personal or commercial benefit.
Gifts and hospitality
Modest gifts or hospitality can be legitimate when they are reasonable, proportionate, transparent and connected to a genuine business purpose. They must never be offered or accepted to influence a recruitment, supplier or commercial decision.
Cash and cash equivalents are not acceptable. Anything that could create an obligation, appear secretive or damage trust should be declined and raised with the Director.
Recruitment and commercial decisions
Recruitment decisions must be based on relevant evidence, fair process and the agreed service, not personal favours. No gift, payment or benefit can buy candidate access, preferential treatment or a hiring outcome.
Commercial terms, referral arrangements and supplier relationships should be recorded clearly and approved through the appropriate business process. The public candidate terms and client terms explain the recruitment relationship at a visitor-facing level.
Suppliers and business partners
Architecture Social takes a proportionate approach to suppliers and partners. We consider who we are working with, the service involved, any conflict of interest and whether the proposed arrangement is clear and credible.
Concerns, unusual requests and suspected breaches must be reported promptly so the business can pause, investigate and take appropriate action.
Reporting and review
To raise a concern, email hello@architecturesocial.com or use the complaints process. Provide the facts you know and avoid investigating the matter yourself if doing so could create risk.
This public statement reflects Anti-Bribery Policy v2.1, approved on 30 July 2026 and effective from 1 August 2026. It is scheduled for review by 1 August 2027 or earlier if the business or applicable requirements materially change.
