The story

The story behind the work.

120 Fleet Street is a planned 595,000 sq ft commercial, retail and cultural development in the City of London. BIG's design steps between the finer grain of Fleet Street and larger commercial buildings to the north, using terraces to open views across the city.

The scheme includes restoration of the Grade II* listed Daily Express Building as a standalone cultural building and proposes a free-to-access rooftop pocket park. River Court Properties is the client and the official CO—RE page currently lists 2028 as the programme year. This record presents a current development case study, not a completed building, and carries no Dolunay Dogahan design credit.
