The story
The story behind the work.
AHMM retained key buildings by Sir Leslie Martin and placed four teaching pavilions, a sports hall and a performing arts building within the mature landscape to create a coherent campus.
Daylit corridors, double-height spaces and faceted precast concrete panels give each pavilion a clear internal order. The completed school won the 2015 RIBA Stirling Prize and later an Architecture Today Test of Time award.
