The story

The story behind the work.

Clare Nash Architecture worked with the owners to secure planning permission for converting a rural agricultural barn and rebuilding the surrounding open-sided hovels as bedrooms, garaging and a workshop.

The completed U-shaped group embraces a south-facing courtyard. Large glazed workshop doors connect the car collection visually with the living spaces, while historical research and drawings supported the case for rebuilding structures in designated open countryside.
