The story

The story behind the work.

Cooee Architecture focused a limited renovation budget on the points of greatest everyday friction in Cathy and Warwick's 1980s home, reconnecting the kitchen, entry and living areas while planning thermal upgrades with an energy consultant.

Electrical and lighting changes, ceiling fans, selective window work and a more accessible all-electric kitchen were coordinated as a staged plan. The built 2017 project retained its original floor area and established a pathway from 3.5 to about 5.5 Stars EER.
