The project
G - 5 Houses brings five prefabricated dwellings to Chave, in the Aveiro district. SUMMARY’s design uses reinforced-concrete panels for the facades, roofs and internal partitions, and the finish of the panels gives the rooms much of their character.
Three of the homes have two storeys and two have one. Exterior stairs and shared roof terraces extend the houses into the landscape, with views towards the Serra da Freita, and their east to west orientation supports cross-ventilation.
The project was completed in 2024 and covers 1,100 m².
