Growing Old, Growing Together: Intergenerational Day Care Centre

Here is showcased Maria Ji's final year thesis project "Growing Old, Growing Together", an intergenerational day care centre in Saint Ann's, Nottingham. She implements the core values of spatial flexibility, environmental integration, and community value to design a community building which helps with community integration while taking advantage of space to be of productive use. Alongside this community building, Maria Ji's thesis project also proposes a new masterplan for the selected area in Saint Ann's to better integrate the building with an active and flourishing neighbourhood, while giving its primary users a space where they are the core of their community.
