ZEDPods worked with Bristol City Council, Bristol Housing Festival and YMCA to place 11 social-rent homes above a steel podium while retaining every public parking space below.
The practice delivered the scheme through RIBA Stages 0 to 7. Factory-built modules, a 105-panel photovoltaic roof and low-energy building services support a completed development that the official source records as net zero in operation.
