The brief

The question behind the work.

A key feature is a triple-height internal courtyard that brings light, planting, and fresh air into the heart of the building, encouraging a stronger connection between people and nature.

The structure is a timber waffle shell with a mix of ETFE, photovoltaic, and timber panels - balancing sustainability with expressive form. The scheme supports ecological learning and community engagement within an urban context.
