The story

The story behind the work.

NIKJOO developed a new-build family home for an overlooked plot behind a convenience store. The scheme responds to a restricted footprint with a shallow floor plate, generous ceiling heights and carefully placed tall glazing, rooflights and circular openings.

The project was guided from feasibility through concept development and delivery. Its organisation around daylight, flow and outdoor space turns a difficult residual plot into a distinctive, low-energy home.
