The story

The story behind the work.

The Waterman combines four difficult-to-let warehouse buildings into one accessible workplace. New connections, consolidated cores and sensitive additions increase usable space while revealing the Victorian brick and industrial structure.

Fathom records BREEAM Excellent, EPC A and LETI B performance after the retrofit. Reused brick, timber, glass and temporary steel reduce waste, while rooftop gardens, terraces, cycle facilities and shared spaces support a broader workplace experience.
