The brief
The question behind the work.
"Uncertain States: An Architectural Manual to Revolution in Berlin" builds on Uran's research for his dissertation thesis. Through design mechanisms, he devises an urban strategy for the purpose of building and occupying spaces throughout Berlin for the spread of political idea, counter to that of an apathetic German government. Stemming from a headquarters based in the decommissioned Tempelhof Airport, a radical political party masks its activities behind an aircraft recycling centre, whilst utilising the recycled parts for building material. A mixed range of media was used including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Photoshop.
