The brief
Most Part II adverts ask you to sit quietly behind a project lead. This one does not. This is a Part II Architectural Assistant role on the planning side, assisting a Senior Architect, where you are expected to be confident in design and able to take the lead on work.
You will join a design-led East London studio of around 30 people, working across residential, workplace and education. The practice runs projects from concept through to completion and is known for imaginative, sustainable schemes. This is a studio where you can shape work early, not just draw up someone else's decisions.

The Practice

The Work
- You will work on the planning side, assisting a Senior Architect through the design process.
- You will develop design proposals and contribute your own design thinking.
- You will help move projects from early concept towards planning submission.
- You will produce drawings, models and presentation material to communicate design intent.
- You will take the lead on defined pieces of work where you are ready to.
What You Need
- You are RIBA Part II qualified and confident in design.
- You can take the lead on your own work rather than only following instructions.
- Experience in residential sector projects is essential.
- Experience with 3D modelling in Archicad.
- You communicate your ideas clearly, in drawings and in person.
