The brief
A growing architectural practice is seeking a talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join its collaborative team in East London. Working closely with a Senior Architect, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to planning-stage projects and play a key role in the development of creative, high quality design proposals.
This position would suit an ambitious and confident designer who is eager to take ownership of design tasks, contribute ideas, and develop their experience within a supportive studio environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist a Senior Architect in the development of planning applications and design proposals
- Produce high quality design, presentation, and planning packages
- Develop concept and planning-stage designs across a range of project types
- Create compelling visualisations, diagrams, and 3D models to communicate design intent
- Take ownership of design work streams and manage tasks proactively
Requirements:
- RIBA Part II qualification with around 2 years experience
- Strong design ability demonstrated through an excellent portfolio
- Confident in developing architectural concepts and communicating ideas visually
- Ability to work independently and take the lead on design-focused tasks when required
- Experience using Revit, ArchiCAD, or other recognised 3D modelling software
- Strong graphic presentation and communication skills
- A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach to work
- Interest in or experience with AI design tools and emerging technologies would be viewed favourably
- The right to live and work in the UK
