What is ArchiCAD?
ArchiCAD is Graphisoft's BIM authoring platform, one of the original virtual building tools. Like Revit, you model the building once and the drawings and schedules come from that model.
A committed minority of UK practices run on it, from small design studios to larger teamwork-driven offices. When an ArchiCAD practice hires, it asks for it by name.
For candidates, the concepts transfer directly to and from Revit, so experience in either strengthens your position in both.
