Senior Interior Architect/Designer
You will work as a Senior Interior Designer/Architect in a studio that also runs architecture, urbanism and masterplanning under one roof. If your background sits on the interior architecture side rather than pure interiors, that is fine. The practice is open to either, provided your workplace work carries weight.
This is a chance to deliver fitouts at scale without a permanent tie, and to plug into an international studio network while you do it.
The Practice
- The studio is a global architecture, urbanism and design practice and is employee-owned.
- Its work spans interiors, architecture, masterplanning and wayfinding across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
- Average tenure runs to around eight years, so people tend to stay once they join.
The Work
- You will lead interior design/architecture on workplace fitout projects on a contract basis.
- You will develop design intent from concept through to detailed stages as the fitouts require.
- You will shape office environments, from space planning through to materials and finishes.
- You will collaborate with architecture and masterplanning colleagues inside an integrated studio.
- You will produce design and visual output to the standard a senior workplace role demands.
What You Need
- You need a track record in interior design or interior architecture at senior level.
- You need to show strong conceptual and detailed work on workplace fitout schemes.
- Experience with Revit would be preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite would be preferred.
- You need to work comfortably on a contract basis and get up to speed quickly.
- You need to collaborate across disciplines in a busy studio.
The Offer
- This is a contract role rather than a permanent one, however there is a chance the role could become permanent.
- Working is hybrid, based in London.
- Standard studio hours run Monday to Friday.
- You join an international studio network spanning the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
- The practice is employee-owned, with a collaborative, design-led culture.
Ready when you are.
The practice stays confidential until interview stage.
