In their words
Assembledge+ is a Los Angeles architecture practice founded and led by David Thompson.
The practice approaches a building as part of a larger arrangement of indoor and outdoor spaces. Its design process considers the site, its neighbours and the client’s needs together, with materials and construction developed through collaboration.
Craftsmanship and the experience of using a space guide the work. Fryman Canyon Residence, also published as Oakdell Residence, shows that approach at the scale of an existing home: a remodel and addition that reconnects living spaces with a terraced garden.
