BDP (Building Design Partnership Ltd) is one of the world's most established multidisciplinary architecture practices, founded in 1961 by Sir George Grenfell-Baines. Headquartered in Manchester with a flagship London studio in Clerkenwell, BDP now operates 19 studios spanning the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, UAE, India, Peru, Singapore, USA, Canada and China. The practice brings architects, designers, engineers, urbanists and lighting and acoustics specialists together as a single integrated team. With over 1,200 employees, BDP is consistently ranked among the top three UK practices in the AJ100 (rank 3 in 2025, with 15 consecutive years on the list). Major sectors covered include health, education, workplace, retail, urbanism, heritage, housing, transport, leisure, public safety and energy utilities.
