In their words
Alice Theodorou and Oscar Plastow established NOTO in 2019 after working in historical conservation. The practice designs homes and interiors across Greater London, Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds and the South East.
Its residential work combines decisions about proportion, daylight and materials with practical planning and construction experience. Projects include the adaptation of existing houses as well as contemporary additions.
Forest Hill House illustrates this approach: a Victorian semi was reworked around a kitchen for professional cooking, family dining and everyday life, with a window seat and a close connection to the garden.
