Architecture shaped by landscape, the way a building is used and the detail of its construction.
ZOOM architecten develops projects at the scale of their surroundings, the building and its individual details. The practice describes an approach that starts with the brief, context and budget, retaining what works and changing what needs to improve.
Landscape is considered from the first sketch. Its work includes new homes and the adaptation of existing buildings, with exterior space, materials and natural light treated as parts of the same design.
