The story
The story behind the work.
Citizens House grew from a community-led brief for genuinely affordable homes in Sydenham. The completed scheme provides eleven homes and demonstrates how residents can organise around land, affordability and a clear long-term purpose rather than waiting for a conventional development route.
The official communityled.homes case study records completion in 2023 and identifies Archio as the design practice. Community Led Housing London is represented here only as the organisation publishing and supporting the case-study network; neither it nor podcast guest Levent Kerimol is presented as the project's architect.
