The story
The story behind the work.
Hazelhurst Court provides sixty extra-care homes for affordable rent in Bellingham. The project connects independent living with support and shared facilities, expanding the community-led housing case-study set beyond small self-organised schemes.
The official case study records completion in 2017 for Phoenix Community Housing and identifies Levitt Bernstein as designer. Community Led Housing London is therefore credited only as the case-study and sector-support organisation, with no design claim made for Levent Kerimol.
