Hotels are some of the most demanding and rewarding projects in architecture. They require a balance of design quality, technical expertise and coordination, often involving large consultant teams, complex stakeholder requirements and ambitious delivery programmes.

A highly respected architectural practice is looking to expand its hospitality team with the addition of an Architect. With a strong portfolio of hotel and hospitality projects both in the UK and internationally, this role offers the opportunity to work on schemes at a variety of stages, although candidates with strong technical experience and exposure to the later RIBA stages will be particularly valued. The successful candidate will join an experienced team delivering high-profile hospitality projects, working closely with consultants, operators, contractors and clients to create exceptional buildings and guest experiences.

The Role

Working as part of a dedicated hospitality team, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of hotel projects across a range of scales and stages. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key project packages, coordinate consultant teams and play an active role in project delivery. Whether your experience is weighted towards design or technical delivery, you'll be supported by a collaborative team environment with excellent opportunities for development and progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of hospitality and hotel projects across multiple RIBA stages.
• Prepare and coordinate design, technical and construction information.
• Work closely with clients, operators, consultants and contractors.
• Develop technical packages and construction details.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend project meetings, workshops and site visits.
• Contribute to project planning, delivery and design reviews.
• Support the successful delivery of projects to programme and quality requirements.

Requirements

• ARB-registered Architect.
• Experience working within a UK architectural practice.
• Hotel or hospitality sector experience preferred.
• Strong technical and detailing skills.
• Experience working across multiple RIBA stages, with Stage 4 onwards experience beneficial.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative project team.
