Lead the Way in BIM - BIM Coordinator Role - London
Competitive Salary + Employee Ownership, Discretionary Bonus, Private Healthcare, and more
This is a fantastic opportunity for a BIM Coordinator to take the lead on BIM at a well-established, design-led architecture practice in London. You'll make sure project teams can design efficiently and confidently in Revit, with real influence over how the whole studio works.
The practice is known for creative, people-focused work that finds unexpected possibilities in every brief and every site. It's employee-owned, so everyone has a stake in its success, and the studio culture is collaborative, sociable and a little unconventional. You'll report to the Operations Director and look after day-to-day BIM delivery across the practice. That means managing content and templates, coordinating models across live projects, building the team's Revit skills and keeping the quality of project information high. It's a varied, visible role for someone who enjoys both the technical detail and helping people work better.
The Role
You'll act as BIM Coordinator on multiple projects, working with client BIM leads and external project teams to ISO 19650-aligned processes. Alongside project coordination, you'll own the studio's Revit standards, content and training, and help shape how BIM develops across the practice.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as BIM Coordinator on multiple projects, liaising with client BIM leads and external teams.
- Coordinate models across Forma/ACC, and run clash detection and issue tracking in Navisworks or Solibri.
- Set up, configure and maintain BIM projects, including survey model requirements before Stage 3.
- Create and audit Revit templates, families, title blocks, annotation and model elements.
- Maintain the Autodesk Content Catalogue, including naming and parameter standards.
- Maintain the studio's Revit Handbook, covering BEP extracts, naming and sheet standards.
- Carry out regular model, family and template audits and produce clear QC reports.
- Run inductions, skills assessments and ongoing Revit and BIM training for staff.
- Respond to BIM queries from internal and external project team members.
- Work with the digital technology team on Forma/ACC projects, plugins and licensing.
- Keep up to date with regulations and studio standards for quality, health and safety and the environment.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in a CAD and BIM coordination role.
- Demonstrable Revit and BIM coordination on live projects.
- Strong family creation and template development skills.
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650 processes and CDEs.
- A good understanding of the architectural process and technical requirements.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
- Fluent with Adobe Creative Suite.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with Forma/ACC, Navisworks or Solibri.
- Experience delivering training and supporting colleagues of all levels.
- People management experience.
- Experience developing project programmes.
Why You'll Love It Here
- Competitive salary.
- A stake in the practice through its Employee Ownership Trust.
- Discretionary annual bonus.
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
- Private health insurance.
- Income protection and life insurance.
- Full sick pay.
