Project Architect | Hotels & Hospitality | Central London
Up to £55,000 + Paid Professional Subscriptions, Christmas Shutdown, Enhanced Family Benefits, Extensive CPD Programme and more
Few projects test an architect quite like a hotel. You're balancing design quality, technical detail, operator standards and a large consultant team, often on an ambitious programme. If that's the kind of challenge you enjoy, and you've already delivered hotels in the UK, this could be a great next step.
Our client is a highly respected, well-established architectural practice with a strong portfolio of hotel and hospitality projects in the UK and internationally. They are growing their dedicated hospitality team and are looking for a Project Architect to help deliver high-profile schemes.
You'll take ownership of key packages, work closely with clients, operators, consultants and contractors, and play a central role in turning great design into buildings that work for guests and operators alike. Projects run across a range of scales and stages. Strong technical experience and later RIBA stage delivery will be particularly valued.
The Role
As part of an experienced hospitality team, you'll help design and deliver hotel projects from design development through to construction. You'll coordinate consultant teams, develop technical packages and be actively involved in delivery. Whether your strengths lean towards design or technical delivery, you'll be supported by a collaborative team with real opportunities for development and progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hotel and hospitality projects across multiple RIBA stages.
- Prepare and coordinate design, technical and construction information.
- Work closely with clients, operators, consultants and contractors.
- Develop technical packages and construction details.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout the project.
- Attend project meetings, workshops and site visits.
- Contribute to project planning, delivery and design reviews.
- Deliver projects to programme and quality requirements.
Requirements
- ARB-registered Architect.
- Experience delivering hotel or hospitality projects within a UK practice.
- Strong technical and detailing skills.
- Experience across multiple RIBA stages, ideally including Stage 4 onwards.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Confident working with operators, consultants and contractors.
- A collaborative, proactive approach to project delivery.
Salary & Benefits
- Up to £55,000.
- Professional subscriptions paid, including ARB and RIBA.
- Extended Christmas shutdown on top of annual leave.
- Enhanced maternity and paternity package.
- Childcare contribution after parental leave.
- Company pension scheme.
- Season ticket loan.
- Cycle to Work scheme.
- Structured CPD programme and mentoring.
- Software training and ongoing professional development.
- Employee Assistance Programme.
- Discounted gym membership.
- Sports teams and regular social events.
- Employee referral bonus scheme.
- A modern studio with excellent views across London.
This role suits a Project Architect who enjoys technically challenging work and wants to build their career in hospitality. You'll have a strong pipeline of hotel projects, an experienced team around you and a practice that invests properly in your development. If you've delivered hotels in the UK and want to take on more ownership, we'd love to hear from you.
