Most senior interior design roles ask you to pick a lane. This one does not. You will work across a studio that runs architecture and interior design, on private homes built for a demanding, international clientele.
This is a senior post for an interior designer who already holds their own on luxury residential projects. You will shape schemes with real character, not house-style repeats, and you will do it on site in London, close to the people making the decisions.
If you want detail, craft and clients who care about the difference, read on.
The Practice
- You join an established London studio.
- You work alongside architects, designers, technicians and interior designers, so the disciplines sit together rather than hand over by email.
- You design for homes across the globe, where expressive luxury meets distinct character.
The Work
- You will develop interior schemes for private residential projects from concept through to delivery.
- You will balance luxury, comfort and functionality, the three things this studio measures its work against.
- You will work across private residential and hospitality settings.
- You will keep character at the centre of each scheme, so no two homes read the same.
- You will work on site in London, in close contact with the wider design team.
What You Need
- You will be proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
- You bring solid experience as an interior designer at a senior level on luxury residential work.
- You can carry a scheme from early concept through to a finished, lived-in space.
- You have an eye for detail that holds up against a discerning private client.
- You are comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team rather than in isolation.
- You communicate clearly with colleagues across architecture, design and technical roles.
The Offer
- You join an established studio with a long track record in high-end residential design.
- You will be provided with lunch from Monday to Thursday.
- You work in a London studio alongside the wider design team.
- You will have the ability to work from home every Friday.
- You will work in a collaborative, dog-friendly office.
