We don't have a house style, instead our design approach is to treat each project on its own merits. We'll aim to create a simple, attractive, original solution to your unique requirements. One that uses the minimum amount of materials and structural changes, yet achieves the maximum impact for you and your building. And, as a result, a solution that helps your money to go further.
Rixon Architects is an award-winning, RIBA-chartered practice based in Cirencester in the Cotswolds. It is led by Jonathan Rixon (BA Hons, DipArch, PGDip, RIBA), who worked for London practices before founding the studio, including more than five years on major builds for the London 2012 Olympics. Jonathan has twice served on the jury for the RIBA Awards in the South West and Wessex region.
The practice offers a full architectural service from conception through completion to post-occupancy evaluation, typically on projects from £300,000 to £2.5 million. Its work includes barn conversions, listed farmhouses, country houses and Passivhaus homes across the Cotswolds and Wiltshire, with further projects in London and overseas, and it has experience of listed building consents with Cotswold, Stroud, West Oxfordshire and Wiltshire councils.
