Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recently qualified design led Architect to join a busy London studio where you will be working and developing professionally within a well-structured and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be a talented, enthusiastic, and ambitious architect with a strong design focus. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake feasibility studies, capacity assessments, and concept design work for individual projects
• Interpret client briefs to identify needs and produce feasibility reports and design proposals
• Provide support across projects during early feasibility, concept design, and planning stages
• Present and communicate design concepts and philosophies to clients and local planning authorities
• Advise on refurbishment, re-use, recycling, and deconstruction strategies
• Lead projects from inception to completion under the guidance of senior leadership, ensuring innovative and functional design outcomes
• Develop design ideas with consideration for client requirements, building usage, and environmental impact
• Prepare project specifications and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations
• Conduct site visits when required, providing status reports and analysis
• Collaborate with construction professionals throughout project delivery
• Stay informed of architectural trends and advancements

Skills & Qualifications

• Recently qualified Architect with a strong portfolio of design work on International projects
• Demonstrated commitment to producing high-quality design information with meticulous attention to detail
• Confident in presenting and communicating design ideas and concepts
• Good working knowledge of Revit and Adobe packages, including knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, etc
• Experience across a variety of sectors is preferred
