Architect at Established Design-Led Practice
You are an ARB-registered architect with at least a year of post-Part 3 experience and a solid grounding in London commercial projects. You enjoy working across all stages, balancing design thinking with technical rigour, and you are now looking to deepen your experience within a close-knit studio delivering complex, high-quality work. 4 days in, WFH on friday.
This small to medium sized, RIBA Chartered practice has built a strong reputation over the last two decades for thoughtful, well-crafted architecture across commercial, workplace, retail, residential and mixed-use schemes. Much of the work involves challenging urban sites in and around Central London, often combining new build with sensitive refurbishment and work to existing buildings. The studio culture is friendly, collaborative and design-focused, with senior architects closely involved in projects and plenty of scope for responsibility and progression as the practice continues to grow.
On a day-to-day basis you will be involved in developing design proposals from early concepts through to delivery, working on detailed technical packages and coordinating information through later stages. You will contribute to drawings, models and reports across multiple RIBA stages, liaise closely with consultants and contractors, and support the smooth running of projects on site. You will also take part in internal design discussions and reviews, contributing ideas and solutions as part of a supportive team.
You have at least one year of post-Part 3 experience as an Architect and are ARB-registered, with RIBA Chartered Membership or equivalent. You have proven experience working on high-quality commercial projects in London and are comfortable seeing projects through all RIBA stages. You enjoy both design and detailed technical work and have experience using BIM software such as Archicad or Revit. You are confident working with consultants and contractors, organised in your approach, and personable in how you communicate and collaborate.
In return, the practice offers a competitive salary within a small, experienced team where your contribution is visible and valued. You will work on a varied portfolio of well-designed projects with real complexity, gain hands-on exposure across all stages, and benefit from a hybrid working pattern that supports focus and flexibility. The role includes 20 days annual leave plus the period between Christmas and New Year, along with a positive studio culture and genuine long-term progression opportunities.
If you are looking for a studio where you can strengthen your commercial expertise, take ownership of your work, and be part of a friendly London-based team, this role is well worth exploring.
