Architect (Education Projects)
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop architectural plans and models for educational projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and educational standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including planners, landscape architects, and engineers to deliver holistic educational environments.
- Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints related to educational facilities.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and specifications using industry-standard software.
- Manage project timelines and budgets while maintaining high-quality standards in architectural delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle during design, planning, and construction phases.
- Stay updated with current trends in educational architecture, sustainability practices, and relevant building codes.
- Participate in academic discussions and contribute to the practice’s involvement in educational lectures or workshops.
Essential Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Registered architect or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, particularly in education-related projects.
- Proficiency in design software including Rhino and Revit.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively manage engagement and project reporting.
Desired Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architectural design, specifically focused on educational environments.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from concept through to completion.
- Experience working in an international and multicultural team environment is preferable.
- Participation in academic initiatives or teaching roles is a plus.
- Recognition or awards in the architecture field, particularly in education, is advantageous.
