The role:
This is a full-time permanent position, based in Grand Cayman. You will be expected to lead and deliver a range of high-quality projects, with emphasis on the following:
Lead projects from concept through completion, with clarity, confidence and trust.
Oversee architectural technologists and draftspersons, as required.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities.
Manage multiple projects independently and concurrently, to project timelines.
RIBA Part III, experienced Part II, or equivalent.
Experience working within an established architectural practice.
Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
Ability to work as a team whilst also demonstrating autonomy and professional judgement.
Excellent professional communication skills and fluency in English (written and verbal).
Proven ability to lead projects and take responsibility for technical and design aspects.
Strong design and presentation skills.
Solid understanding of construction technology and construction documentation.
Ability to work with planning and building codes (local knowledge can be developed).
Proactive outlook, reliable, organized, detail-oriented, driven to grow.
Strong interpersonal skills.
High-level of proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop and InDesign), Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Planner, and Microsoft OneNote.
Enthusiastic about innovation and continuous improvement, including AI-driven workflow enhancements.
