An established international architecture practice is seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Lead to drive growth and client engagement for cultural architecture projects in Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, this role offers the opportunity to lead the firm’s expansion in the region, focusing on high-profile cultural developments aligned with the country’s Vision 2030 initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the cultural sector, including museums, cultural centres, and public institutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, developers, and cultural organisations
- Lead the preparation and delivery of compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client and project needs
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic planning
- Collaborate closely with design and technical teams to ensure alignment between business development and project delivery
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development within architecture or construction and at least 10-12 years post qualification experience
- Demonstrable experience winning cultural projects
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian market and cultural sector
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are an advantage
