A 250 person strong architecture practice based in Central London is seeking a new HR Manager. The company is a respected design practice that promotes professional development, wellbeing, and flexible working, with an HR function that genuinely influences how the business evolves across their 3 offices, 2 in the UK and 1 in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day to day HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, recruitment coordination, and performance processes
- Partner with Heads of Team to guide workforce planning and career development pathways
- Champion wellbeing, inclusion, learning initiatives, and staff experience improvements
- Maintain and improve HR policies and procedures with a clear, accessible approach
- Support salary reviews, promotions, succession planning, and resourcing strategies
- Oversee HR systems, data accuracy, and reporting
- Contribute to culture initiatives, social programming, and early careers activity
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and support visa processes when required
Skills and Experience:
- Previous HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor experience within a creative, design, or professional services setting
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident partnering with senior leaders and guiding sensitive matters
- Empathetic communication, diplomacy, and problem solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, project driven environment
- HRIS experience and an interest in improving systems and processes
- The right to live and work in the UK
