In House Architect for Private High-networth Family
If you are an Architect who enjoys shaping high quality residential environments from the earliest concept through to final delivery, this role offers the chance to influence a growing portfolio within a collaborative and design driven property investment studio. Working closely with the Managing Director and Asset Management team, you will guide the architectural direction of new acquisitions, refurbishments, and select commercial schemes, with a strong focus on luxury residential design.
You will play a central role in concept development, design management, planning strategy, consultant coordination, and quality oversight, taking projects from early vision through to completion.
Responsibilities:
• Develop concept designs for new developments, refurbishments, and feasibility studies.
• Prepare and coordinate planning documentation, including drawings, reports, and inputs from external consultants.
• Review development opportunities from a design, planning, and compliance perspective.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, and decorative elements, producing detailed furniture specifications.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical oversight on construction drawings and specifications by external architecture teams.
• Attend site reviews, monitor quality, and contribute to design decisions during construction.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing registers.
Skills and Experience:
• A degree in Architecture with at least five years of professional experience.
• Strong previous exposure to high quality residential design.
• Confident understanding of planning policy, spatial design, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and communicate confidently with stakeholders.
