A well established, award winning architectural studio in Central London is looking to welcome a talented Interior Designer into its growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Interior Designer to join a collaborative studio environment, working across thoughtfully designed commercial, retail and residential schemes in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting projects from early concept stages through to delivery on site, contributing both creatively and technically across all phases of design and construction.
With a number of projects currently progressing through live construction stages, this role would suit someone who is confident taking ownership of their work, enjoys working within a team, and is comfortable liaising directly with clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strong Revit proficiency is essential
- Applicants should have a minimum of three years post qualification experience
- Previous experience working on interior architecture or workplace interior design projects
- Demonstrable experience developing design concepts through to technical delivery
- Ability to produce detailed interior drawing packages for tender and construction
- Confident working across space planning, layouts, finishes and FF&E
- Experience coordinating with architects, consultants and contractors
- Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and interior detailing standards
- Previous site experience and confidence attending site meetings
- Strong technical understanding of joinery, materials and interior construction methods
- Commercially aware, responsible and reliable
- Comfortable taking ownership of packages and progressing work independently
- Experience working across relevant RIBA stages
