Mid-Level Interior Designer ZGF is seeking a Mid Level Interior Designer for the Vancouver office. We are looking for strong leaders and thoughtful designers with excellent communication and technical skills to join our vibrant and diverse culture of designers, planners, strategists, and industry thought leaders. Candidates should have between 6-10 years of experience in an interior design or architecture firm with a focus on interiors for healthcare.As a Mid Level Interior Designer, you will….Perform interior design/architectural assignments with general direction, no immediate supervision, and work independently as well as collaboratively with others toward design solutionsAssist in developing design and technical solutions for projects in all phases, including graphics, renderings, and performance metrics for the successful communication of the design goalsProvide production of design drawings, presentation drawings, and digital models in support of design teamsHave a passion for programming, planning, materiality, detailing, and furnishings Research products and materials, review existing projects, and those under construction to inform the production of design documentationAssist in the project’s narrative for meeting building performance goals, including metrics, verification, and design integrationContribute to the effective performance of the Project Team regarding project quality, schedule, and budgetAssist in the execution of Construction Administration responsibilities and project close-outContribute to general office-wide initiatives and marketing efforts Qualifications:NCIDQ certification and/or architectural licensure is strongly preferred and 6-10 years of related experience with a focus on interiors for healthcare, hospitality experience is considered an assetA professional Interior Design or Architectural degreeLEED, WELL, or FITWEL accreditation are strongly preferredProficiency in Revit and in creating design presentationsProficient 3D modeling and rendering abilities in Revit and Enscape is strongly preferredAbility to thrive in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environmentHighly motivated, proactive, and passionateWell-organized and detail-orientedExcellent team communication skillsExperience in detailing and execution of construction documents with minimal supervisionExperience with higher education and corporate workplace projects is desiredHave solid knowledge of interior code requirements and building systemsApply With: Cover letterResumePortfolioApplications without a cover letter, resume and portfolio will not be reviewed.
