An established architecture practice is seeking a Project Architect or Architectural Technologist to take responsibility for projects from early instruction through to delivery. This role is suited to someone trusted to run projects day to day, working closely with Associates and Directors, managing design quality, programme, resources, and client relationships with confidence and professionalism.

- Someone experienced in taking projects on at handover stage, leading them through all key stages with minimal supervision.
- A client-facing professional who can lead meetings, capture briefs, manage correspondence, and report on progress clearly and confidently.
- A strong design thinker, able to communicate ideas and options through sketches, drawings, and clear written commentary.
- A process-driven individual, comfortable setting up and managing project programmes, coordinating consultant inputs, tracking change, and maintaining accurate project records.
- Strong commercial awareness, with a clear understanding of cost, value, budgets, procurement, and wider industry drivers, and the ability to protect design intent while responding pragmatically to constraints.
- A champion of technical quality, ensuring technical reviews are undertaken, outcomes are implemented, and designs are procured appropriately and at the right stages.
- Someone capable of leading internal teams, monitoring workload, time, and performance against agreed targets, and allocating resources effectively to meet programme and commercial objectives.
- A numerate and detail-focused professional, confident producing accurate area schedules, quantities, unit mixes, and assessing cost and value relationships.
- A collaborative team player, open to peer review and shared problem-solving, while able to justify decisions clearly and constructively.
- A reliable and professional individual who gives senior leadership confidence that projects are well managed, well communicated, and delivered to a high standard.
- Self-aware and proactive about development, recognising when support is required and actively engaging in learning and CPD.
- Ideally working towards, or holding, relevant professional accreditation.
